How troublesome...

Mother and father had warned me about the news, but I had not thought I would hear of it so close! To know our area has become filled with more violence -- it's a little unsettling. Even walking to school seems more daunting!

It's a shame. It had always been so quiet.

The news has said there have been random attacks upon neighboring residents. Even if these upswings are to be expected, it is totally uncalled for!

They have not been too clear. What reports have come out have been pretty quiet.
